Directions from Various landmarks and roads are given below. Please scroll down until you find the directions you are looking for.

From Rutgers University

College Ave Campus: Several possibilities, we describe two.

Walk to Train Station.
Cross to the Rutgers Bookstore.
Go left past George Street to Neilson Street.
Cross the street. Turn right. On your immediate left is the Hyatt Hotel.
Shul is down the block, on the left.
Cut through Old Queens Quad to the corner of Somerset and George.
Continue on George under the tracks to Albany and go left on Albany.
At the Hyatt (Neilson) go right.
Shul is down the block, on the left.

Douglass Campus:

Take George to Richmond.
Go right on Richmond to Neilson, and left on Neilson.
The Shul is right there.

Campus Buses: (see map below)

From College Ave or Cook/Douglas, take the EE to the New and Neilson Street stop, or the F to the george and Paterson Street stop.
From Livingston take the GG and from Busch take the G bus to the New and & Neison Street stop.

From Highland Park, NJ

Walk west on Route 27 South towards New Brunswick
cross the Raritan Avenue Bridge.
Walk to Neilson Street.
Turn left.
Shul is down the block, on the left.

Local Hospitals

Robert Wood Johnson Hospital:

Somerset or Little Albany Streets to Easton Av.
Right on Easton under the train tracks.
Cross Albany Street and go left.
At the Hyatt (Neilson) go right.
Shul is down the block, on the left.

St Peters Hospital:

Easton Av. 0.9 miles toward the train station.
Go under the train tracks.
Cross Albany Street and go left.
At the Hyatt (Neilson) go right.
Shul is down the block, on the left.

The New Brunswick Train Station:

located at the corner of Albany Street and Easton Avenue across from the Rutgers Bookstore. Cab service is available from the train station, but note that the Shul and the Hyatt Hotel are just a few short blocks away.

Cross to the Rutgers Bookstore.
Go left past George Street to Neilson Street.
Cross the street. Turn right.
On your immediate left is the Hyatt Hotel. Shul is down the block, on the left.

The Hyatt Hotel

The Hyatt Hotel has rooms for those observing Shabbos and is very close to our synagogue and walking distance to the Highland Park community.

Walk out the main door of the Hyatt.
Go left for two blocks.
The synagogue is on the same side of the street as the Hyatt.

Garden State Parkway

Southbound (coming from northern New Jersey):

Turn off at Exit 129 for the New Jersey Turnpike and head south.
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 9.
Proceed on Route 18 North approximately 2.5 miles to Route 27 South.
Travel 2 blocks to Neilson Street.
Turn left.
On your immediate left is the Hyatt Hotel.
Shul is down the block, on the left.

Northbound (coming from southern New Jersey):

Turn off at Exit 105 and follow signs for Route 18 North.
After approximately 24 miles you will pass the entrance for the New Jersey Turnpike and continue on Route 18 North for another approximately 2.5 miles to Route 27 South.
Travel 2 blocks to Neilson Street.
Turn left. On your immediate left is the Hyatt Hotel.
Shul is down the block, on the left.

Rt. 287

Take Exit 10 onto Route 527 (New Brunswick Exit).
Follow Route 527 (Easton Avenue) for about six miles until you see a railroad overpass.
Go under the overpass and make a left onto Route 27 North (Albany Street).
Stay in the right lane.
Travel two blocks to Neilson Street.
Turn right.
On your immediate left is the Hyatt Hotel.
Shul is down the block, on the left.

Staten Island

Take Outer Bridge Crossing.
This becomes NJ-440W, which becomes 1-287-N.
Take the US-1 exit - exit number 1b - towards Trenton.
Merge onto US-1 South.
Several miles down, past the Lowes movie theater complex, take the Route 18 ramp towards New Brunswick.
Keep right at the fork in the ramp.
Merge onto 18 North.
Continue on 18 N for about one mile to Route 27 South.
Travel 2 blocks to Neilson Street.
Turn left.
On your immediate left is the Hyatt Hotel.
Shul is down the block, on the left.
